All nursing graduates must must pass a national exam to become an RN. Nursing provides a stable career but usually requires a nurse to work long shifts and be able to stand for long periods. However, nursing pays well, and an RN earns between $50,000 to $70,000 per year based on experience, sector of employment and geographical location.
